When I bought it eight or nine years ago, I thought I would not use it very often. It was rather heavy and warm so I thought it was suitable for cold winter nights. But it turned out that it came in handy in autumn and spring as well. In fact, we still use it today. It doesn"t look like a brand new merinos blanket any more, of course, but at least it is still in an exceptionally good condition. Actually, I never thought that it would survive for so many years. It was mainly me who used it first. I bought it because I often take afternoon naps after a hard day at work and I needed something like that. So when I returned home, I took a shower, had dinner and then covered myself in a soft merinos blanket and slept for two hours. Then my husband started using my blanket. Didn"t really like it, you know. I always found him covered in it whenever I needed it. So I bought him another blanket. It was made of polar fleece, and he didn"t find it so comfortable, so in fact he still used mine. The blanket went through a lot. It was stained with coffee and wine at least a hundred times, it was taken with us whenever we went on holiday, to the beach, to the mountains. The merinos blanket really survived a lot, and it is still being used today.
