When I was a child I had a really huge amount of toys. Because of that I could never really decide what to play with. This is the kind of problem you face when you enter a big shop, like a supermarket with the aim to buy just a frozen pizza. At first, it seems very easy to do, but later on it turns out that after you see so many different kinds of the products you are too confused to pick anything and you end up with nothing! Very soon it turns out that you have no more time to walk around doing nothing and you have to pick the very first within your reach. That is the human nature, at least the tendency of many of us in such situations. The same problem was with the toys. I never had any favorite toys because I couldn"t really focus on one particular thing to hold in my hands. I always knew that there are so many of that, that I do not have to pay attention to anything individually. But this schema was not really the same in all the cases. For example my cot bed mattress. That pink cot bed mattress I still have today. That was my favorite. I could never sleep without it, that was the most important aspect that made me fall asleep with actually no problems. I guess this is why my mother loved that cot bed mattress so much. because thanks to it she could have at least a while of calmness.
